Residents and basketball enthusiasts were excited to break ground on the construction of the Dream Courts facility on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Dream Courts – set to become a cornerstone of the city’s recreational landscape – will offer state-of-the-art basketball courts, fitness amenities, study/flexible space, a welcoming environment for all ages and skill levels, and much more.
“It’s something that is going to drive tourism, sports tourism, we think that in turn it will help drive economic development as folks flow in from other areas and regions from the state to attend tournaments here,” shared Jordan Davis, Pittsburg’s director of community and economic development.
