City hosts community meetings to establish renewed vision for Old Town and the Marina

by The 100 Companies

The City of Pittsburg continues its efforts and investments into its historic core, with an eye on connecting two adjacent, but often bifurcated, areas: Old Town and the Marina, which have historically served as economic and social hubs of the city.

City officials are looking to residents and businesses to help lead the charge in this project. While early in the process, city staff recently held workshops to receive public input.

The first design charette was attended by nearly 80 local stakeholders who reviewed and commented on several possible concepts and amenities that could possibly be added to the area.
