Garrett Evans has worked for the City of Pittsburg for more than 22 years, and has been City Manager since February 2019. He was selected for his wealth of economic development and technical expertise, as well as experience with the community.
Mr. Evans’ education includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. Mr. Evans and his wife, Jill, have two children, Jacqueline and Bradford Evans.
Kolette Simonton is celebrating her 11th year with the City of Pittsburg, and is currently the Assistant Director of Economic Development and Recreation. Her background includes working with nonprofits, news media, marketing and design, and 8 years in the field of economic development.
Mrs. Simonton received a bachelor’s degree in communication with a focus on public relations from California State University at Sacramento. Mrs. Simonton loves the city she works for, as it is the city in which she grew up.
Jordan Davis joined the City of Pittsburg in 2015 as part of the Planning Division, and holds an AICP certification. In 2019, Jordan was named Assistant to the City Manager, where he coordinates and oversees special projects.
Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in city and regional planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University. Jordan and his wife, Kaylea, have three children, twins Adriana and Eva, as well as baby sister Isabella.
Suzette Reynoso has been the Community Outreach Coordinator for the City of Pittsburg since December 2018.
Before joining City staff, Ms. Reynoso worked as a television news reporter. She earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from San Francisco State University.
