East Bay man recognized by NFL during Super Bowl LV

by The 100 Companies

This past weekend, football fans everywhere were glued to their television and streaming devices to watch Superbowl LV.  Fans were amped up and ready for some serious football, and great football commercials.

In all of the fanfare, the NFL did not lose sight of what’s important: the heroes that have emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with nurse manager Suzie Dorner and Marine veteran James Martin, Pittsburg High alumni Trimaine Davis was selected as an honorary captain for the coin toss.

Trimaine, now an educator in Los Angeles, was selected for his contributions in limiting the digital divide for students.
