In October, Stay Cal Pittsburg LLC of San Mateo, California, broke ground on a new 117-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Pittsburg.
Less than a quarter mile from the Pittsburg Center BART Station, which opened in 2018, the newest Marriott development in the Bay Area, upon completion, will be the highest STR-rated hotel in eastern Contra Costa County.
Joined by an adjacent Starbucks development being constructed by Development Consultants Inc. of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, the commercial development will complement the neighboring Civic Center, which includes Pittsburg City Hall, the Richard J. Arnason Superior Courthouse, and Pittsburg Unified School District offices.
