Exciting news! Applications for the Hometown Heroes banner program are officially open. Each summer, the city proudly spotlights its local heroes on streetlight banners near the Pittsburg Center BART station. The Hometown Heroes program provides the opportunity for the community to recognize and honor Pittsburg residents, and their immediate family members, who have served, or currently serving, in the United States Armed Forces.
