The inaugural meeting of the Public Financing Authority (PFA) for the Pittsburg Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) marked an important moment for our community.
The meeting represents a major milestone in the process of forming an EIFD, which the city began on Sept. 18. The PFA adopted bylaws and instructed staff to prepare the Infrastructure Financing Plan, which will be the guiding document as to how EIFD funds will be spent. The EIFD is currently scheduled to be fully formed by May 2024, pending the public formation process.
The meeting set the tone for collaborative efforts to shape the EIFD’s vision.
