In 2001, Pittsburg outlined a General Plan guiding long-term growth to 2020. Now, updating for 2040, the City aims to extend critical guidance, aligning with community goals and aspirations for sustainable development.
The Draft 2040 Pittsburg General Plan and its accompanying Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are open for public review and comments. The City invites input from residents, agencies and interested individuals during the 60-day review period (from Dec. 12-Feb. 9 at 5 p.m.).
