Pittsburg to adopt $34M Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

by The 100 Companies

Pittsburg’s five-year Capital Improvement Program – a plan for the construction of new and expansion, rehabilitation or replacement of existing city-owned assets – is updated annually and used as a guide to prioritize infrastructure projects.

The CIP for fiscal years 2022/23-2026/27 is the most robust in the city’s 120-year history, and includes projects which will help support local businesses, provide enhanced safety for bicyclists and pedestrians and improve services to the public, while preserving existing assets and eliminating blight.

Key to this CIP is enhancing roadways to make driving through the city safer and more enjoyable for residents and visitors.
