Power outage preparedness

by The 100 Companies

Recently, there has been a surge in power outages. These outages have generated two key observations: one, our lives revolve around electricity, and two, we really need to be more prepared.

Nearly everything in your house or apartment requires electricity: fridges, coffee makers, Wi-Fi, lights, phone chargers, medical systems, the list goes on. Without these items, everyday activities become harder.

Thus, it’s critical to have backup supplies. Always have flashlights, portable chargers, nonperishable food, medical supplies, a transistor radio and batteries ready to go.

Lastly if an outage occurs, contact your neighbors, family and friends who might need additional assistance.
