• April 14: The Kiwanis Literacy Club of Pittsburg, partnering with Railroad Book Depot, presents the Read Aloud from 10-11 a.m. The Read Aloud is a free community event featuring fun and interactive reading activities, book giveaways and snacks. The Read Aloud also welcomes Laura Rodriguez as a special guest.
• April 15: Meet award-winning author and illustrator Rafael López from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Pittsburg Library StoryWalk. López will draw and share his art process, and the library will give away free books and tickets to Small World Park where the walk continues from 1-2 p.m.
