Contra Costa County’s General Plan is nearly 40 years old, and the zoning code, although updated here and there, dates back to 1949. I think we can all agree that the world has changed a lot since then.
The county supervisors approved a full overhaul of both guiding documents, as well as the Climate Action Plan. These frameworks will set the stage for the next generation of business growth in unincorporated communities, including Bay Point, Byron, El Sobrante and more.
