Welcome to The Pitt Stop, where we showcase Pittsburg pride in our residents, businesses and city.

JB Balingit started his career in the food service industry as a busboy. Now, more than a decade later, he owns three successful restaurants: The Hideout Kitchen in Lafayette, Vic’s in Martinez and a recently opened one in Pittsburg.

Rocky’s Kitchen, named after his mother, serves California comfort food with a twist. Rocky’s Kitchen is open weekdays for breakfast and lunch at 1005 Center Drive in Pittsburg. Sink your teeth into their popular catfish po’boy sandwich, smoked brisket panini or a tasty rice bowl.
