Providing skills you need for the workforce today

The City of Pittsburg and Los Medanos College have launched the Pittsburg Educational Achievement Partnership (PEAP) to help residents and employees in Pittsburg “Skill Up” and expand their employment opportunities.

Whether you need new skills to re-enter the workforce, a refresher course to improve your current job or training to switch into a new high demand career, Los Medanos has courses and short-term certificates for you. Los Medanos College received consecutive recognitions as a “Top 150 U.S. Community College” by the Aspen Institute (2017 & 2019) and was named one of the “50 Best Community Colleges for 2017” by College Choice.
