Do you enjoy oysters, calamari, crab, crawfish, jambalaya, lobster, shrimp, mussels, gator and other bites from under the sea? Then you’re in luck! For the 35th year, the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Pittsburg Seafood & Music Festival on Sept. 7-8.
Since 1984, the event has attracted visitors from all over the state and promotes the rich history of Pittsburg’s fishing industry, which is credited with putting the city formerly known as the “New York of the Pacific” on the map.
