With the assistance of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, the City has so far distributed nearly $200,000 in grants that will help local businesses pay rent and energy bills, with several more grants pending and expected to be awarded in the next two weeks.
In total, the City Council of Pittsburg has authorized $250,000 be used to help keep small businesses afloat as they deal with the pandemic.
