It is a week into November – are you looking scraggly yet?
While No-Shave November (or Movember, depending on which set of rules you subscribe to) is always good fun, the cause it backs is much more admirable than your co-worker’s patchy facial hair.
No-Shave November is all about ditching your razor for 30 days and donating your monthly hair-maintenance expenses in an effort to support cancer prevention, research and education. Formed in the fall of 2009 after an Illinois family’s father died from colon cancer, the family-run organization has raised over $2 million to date for the cause.
