Los Medanos College (LMC) continues to be honored as one of the top community colleges in the nation. College Choice recently ranked LMC as the sixth-best community college in the country, citing its beautiful 120-acre campus that has increased classroom space by 50% in the last decade, numerous technology and study labs and graduation/certification rate.
Additionally, The Aspen Institute lists LMC as among the top 150 junior colleges in the nation, making it eligible for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
