In 2020, the City of Pittsburg and Los Medanos College (LMC) launched the Pittsburg Educational Achievement Partnership to help residents expand their employment opportunities and create a ready workforce responsive to the employment needs of Pittsburg’s new and expanding businesses.
Through LMC, classes ranging from construction pre-apprenticeship to auto maintenance to career planning are being offered at low or no cost to new students.
