Join Souljahs as they host their 12th Annual Juneteenth Celebration this Saturday, June 17, from noon-5:30 p.m.
This year’s event will be at City Park, located at the intersection of Railroad and Civic Avenues. There will be arts and crafts booths at this family-friendly celebration.
Juneteenth – officially on Monday, June 19 – is a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Different states have recognized this important date as an official holiday over the years, but it was not until 2021 that Juneteenth was officially recognized as a federal holiday.
Come out and celebrate this Saturday.
