It’s time for football

It’s August, the band is roaring and the crowd is cheering … you know what that means. It’s football time!

The stadium lights shine bright here in Pittsburg, with the Pittsburg Pirates freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams all in action against conference foes. Each team has the same goal – finishing on top. The season officially starts Aug. 23, but fans will have to wait until Sept. 13 to catch the varsity team in action at home.

So on Sept. 13, when the lights are bright, the crowd is on its feet and the band is marching, will you be there?
