There will be a Municipal Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. If you are planning to run for Pittsburg City Council, here are some guidelines (see more in the infographic above):

Filing period began July 15 and ends Aug. 9
A candidate handbook is available by appointment at the City Clerk’s office
There are three steps to make a nomination official
Review the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Campaign website at fppc.ca.gov
Candidates must be U.S. citizens, 18+ years old and a registered voter living in Pittsburg
