Groundbreaking for the Water Treatment Plants project

by The 100 Companies

Pittsburg’s Water Treatment Plant hosted a groundbreaking this month to celebrate the Water Treatment Plants project. This project will improve the city’s water quality and continue to serve the demands of the City of Pittsburg’s residential, commercial and industrial customers.

The Water Treatment Plants project includes the installation of six new water filters and the conversion of an existing gaseous chlorine system to liquid hypochlorite (bleach), as well as upgrades to filter effluent pumping and buried WTP infrastructure.
