Former sheriff’s training center to become Marina Community Center

by The 100 Companies

The former sheriff’s training center downtown is being refurbished to transform into the Marina Community Center. This center will bring new life to the space so that our community members can enjoy a variety of recreational and educational activities.

The Marina Community Center contains two large classrooms that have space for anything from dance and fitness classes to trainings and workshops, along with a full gymnasium that is ideal for basketball, volleyball, pickleball and more.

Residents have requested a community center for quite some time and we’re excited to provide this space. The expected opening date is later this spring.

Great to hear the training center is being reclaimed as a community center. It’s a great facility and will expand opportunities for social activities and gatherings
