Fire preparedness

Unfortunately, California’s fire season is in full swing. Fires have the potential to be extremely devastating and destructive. To best prepare yourself, make sure you have an emergency plan and kit.

Be sure to go over your emergency plan with everyone in your household, putting an emphasis on what to do and where to go.

Additionally, have a kit with food, water, clothes, pet supplies, first aid kit, documentation (i.e. passport/birth certificate), medication and any other necessities you may need.

Finally, if a police officer or firefighter tells you to evacuate, please listen. It’s their job to keep you safe.
